Tail lights fit nicely, about the best price overall for a PAIR when I searched online. Note that I was initially worried because the two threaded screw holes on each of the tail lights did not "appear" to line up with the OEM mounting holes in the truck's opening, but I got both to mount snugly by just barely starting each of the 4 screws, making sure all threads were properly aligned, before I slowly tightened them all up progressively, a little at a time. Once the screws were fully tightened, these tail lights presented no issues.

So...BEFORE you begin screwing these down, MAKE SURE all of your 4 screws properly line up when put through your factory truck holes and into the tail light threaded holes, before slowly/progressively tightening them all.

I also added a light coat of plastic lens WAX onto each of these PRIOR to mounting, just to add protection to the surface from scratches or fingerprints over time.

Yes, I would recommend this pair of tail lights for your early GMC Canyon.

Looked around for awhile to find the best deal and this is it for Colorado tail lights. They were just as advertised and maybe a little darker red than factory. Shipped quick and installed easy!!
