Fixed the tail light issue. Looks great. Ordered on Wednesday and received Saturday. Great service.

Fast and easy to install

Just like so many other reviews indicate, it really doesn't fit correctly. Without the seal foam, it is much closer; but obviously, that isn't a good solution.

The two pins do not engage properly. They have zero holding ability. And, thus, when you tighten the nuts on the two studs, it pulls the outer edge away from the body.

The tail lights are known Toyota problems. The LED portion burns out and is not replaceable, while the rest of the lights in the assembly are replaceable incandescent. I replaced the driver’s side last year and just replaced the passenger’s side last week. They come with a 5 year warranty, work just fine and are more than 3 times less than OEM.

They are a complete assembly including the incandescent bulbs, so you can keep the bulbs from the originals as spares. Installation on either side is easy. You don’t need to tear things apart like most videos show. There is enough room when you open the access panel to use a 1/4” thumbwheel (quick spin) ratchet and a deep 10mm socket. The carpeted trim panel will stretch just enough. A nylon trim tool will help you remove the wire retainer on each stud.

Purchasing the light from AM is a great value, but it's a tad bit smaller than the frame. The gap on the left side is not significant enough for me to not buy it. I would purchase this light again and will when the left side burns out.

Wasn't an exact fit vs. OEM. Specifically at the metal inserts opposite the screws. They don't stay inserted in the clips. May be that the light is not to spec on the face measurements?

The outside plugs do not fully latch in, possibly because the foam is too thick so the light has about a 1cm gap with the outside of the car leaving good room for water/debris to come in. Otherwise It works great!

Light worked just fine. Fit was OK. Would do it again.

Part was dead in the box but the company shipped out another one which hasn't arrived yet but they did not ask me to ship the dead one back. So, assuming that the next one is ok I will be satisfied. It did cost me $40 to have the first part declared dead by my mechanic. Such is life.

This part is otherwise OK but when I re-do this installation I will grab a hair dryer and heat the foam rubber backing before attempting to install it. I had previously more successfully done this repair with the other tail light assembly with parts from another source and I re-watched YouTube videos of the repair before doing this one.. What happened was that I ended up cracking the outer plastic slightly because I couldn't get the part to properly seat itself as a result of the extra thick foam rubber. I figure this wouldn't have happened if I had heated the foam rubber. So now I have a working tail light assembly but it still isn't absolutely seated properly and it has a small crack in it. :-(
