The bolt on the clamp fit the factory nut without an issue. The clamp does not come with a nut so save the factory nut. I had to turn the nut many times before the clamp was reasonably tight. I am not sure if the clamp is oversized or the battery post undersized as I installed a new battery. The factory clamp was copper and it was caked with copper sulfate (hard blue-green deposits). This one is steel and I sprayed it with an anti-corrosion spray which I have used in the past with good results so it should be fine.
