OEM mirror cover doesn't fit
The replacement of my Corolla driver's side mirror was fairly straight-forward. I was surprised at the end of my installation that the original mirror cover (painted silver) did not match up with the back of the replacement part.

My car now has one black mirror and one silver mirror cap. At the end of the lease, I don't think this will be a big deal. I've gotten away with much worse on other cars. I just wonder if the mirror cap slot and receiver is somehow proprietary. If so, I would have appreciated knowing that in the product description.

I can't argue with the price: under $50 with free shipping. A body shop would have been into the $300 range and I may have even needed to rent a car.
