Cable came in very fast. Before the date it was actually supposed to arrive too which was cool.

I used this cable for my 2003 Chevy avalanche 1500, my issue was that the dash wouldnt show that the truck was in park on the indicator unless the truck "rolled " into park. This means on a flat surface the truck couldn't figure out it was in park and would keep the doors locked. (Most likely due to a worn bushing, but decided to change the whole cable).

While installing, the only issue I ran into was connecting the two cables together. The white locking collar would not fully compress onto the cable by hand and was extremely difficult, but to fix this use a pair of vise-grips to compress the collar and get the cover over it. The other problem I had was trying to feed the cable through the dash and around the steering column. I had to loosen a lot more pieces than I though, so have a deep socket and regular socket wrench set on you with some extensions.

This job took me about 3 hours to complete, and by all means I am not a mechanic at all, I just do small repairs which I believe I am capable of doing.

Overall, this is a great product and now my truck shifts perfectly from P to 1 and is not loose anymore. Highly reccomend and great quality for the price
