Great Quiet pump that works for a great price!
This is about the 4th fuel pump I have bought of this brand, all for Chevy pickups. They have been great so far. They are quiet, the connectors are correct, no need to splice in a new connector. The problem with the original connectors is that they lose their tension on the terminals. Splicing in a new connector with unsealed butt connectors is probably the worst thing you could do. The best repair is to take the original connector apart and bend the terminals back to original positions. This requires a little skill and a Bobby Pin. Takes about 15 minutes to do all 4 terminals. If you don't have patience or the skill, it's best left alone and used as is. Most of the time, it's okay. If you decide to use the pigtail included, squirt a little silicone In the end of each Butt connector before inserting the wire. After it is crimped,the silicone will cure and provide a water tight seal.
