The pumps sending unit had broken off during shipping. The box did not look damaged but the float and the sensor had come off. Looked at old pump and figured out how to reconnect float and sensor that tells U how much gas is in the car. It took longer than expected for it to be delivered but it’s around the holidays and I am sure UPS got backed up. Have not installed the pump yet but I hope it works. I will keep the paperwork in case I have to return it.
