Where have all the metals gone ......
I have been driving a 2014 Chevy 3500 Express van for 4 years now and have had to replace this sliding door exterior handle 7 times. They are inferior products that do not hold up to constantly opening the side sliding door on these vans. The majority of the product is made of plastic. G.M. needs to redesign this product using metal components. If you're considering one of these vans, get it with the standard swing open split door instead.
