worked fine for 10 minutes

then motor started spitting and sputtering didn't know if gonna make it home. Luckily I have a good mechanic who guessed it was the ignition module.........replaced it......now it's running like a top again.
wonder who's gonna pay my mechanic fee and replacing the ignition module?

I most definitely recommend and will do business again AM-Autoparts.

I purchased this distributor to replace the original that was worn out in my 93' GMC Sierra with a 5.7 liter (TBI) motor. It has worked very well and is of good quality. It comes with a new cap & rotor, ignition module, and pickup coil which is a plus.

Cheap is what you get. Cheap.

Feels cheap to the touch and has the looks to match it. Compared to distributors found in the common part store, this is what a "made in china" one feels like. As far as I can tell, it works like it should (for now) but I sure don't trust it. Will definately be upgrading to a higher quality one VERY soon. If you're lookin to save money and get your vehicle back on the road, sure. This would be a good 'temporary' fix but I wouldn't trust this distributor or anything for more than a month or so, at the very most. Spend the extra $20 and do it right with a good part thats made with higher quality materials.

The distributor I purchased was ordered on late thurs and was sitting on my desk mon now that’s quick. Truck was stalling out ,now runs perfect!! NAPA cost was 124 Carquest 118 and your 46 shipped very very happy????
