Questionable length?
When I installed both cables on my tailgate, I now notice that, when the tailgate is down, only the drivers-side cable is taught while the other side has some slack.. Leaving the drivers-side cable to bear all of the weigh of the tailgate and whatever is loaded on it... Never had this situation with prior cables. I will be calling AM Autoparts about this.

Tailgate retainers
These cables were perfect replacements for the old frayed stock damaged cables. Just a little thinner but store perfectly.

Love them!
I would definitely recommend these! They were less than half price compared to the auto parts store close to me. Easy to change out and is holding up great with a lot of weight being put on my tailgate. I also had them within a few days of ordering. Great product! Glad to have them as a pair as well.
