Works perfectly for 1979 K5 Blazer
One of my original tailgate cables suddenly snapped the other day after nearly 40 years. This cable fit perfectly and was straightforward to install without requiring a shop visit.

Tailgate Cables
Cables fit perfectly, the free shipping can't be beat (not to mention AM Auto Parts already had the best price I could find anywhere on the internet or locally.)
The cables, while just a tiny bit thinner than OEM, is something I consider a plus because while still being plenty strong enough but far more flexible than originals, I think, will make these last much longer. I couldn't happier with this purchase!
I would recommend anyone try AM Auto Parts before shopping anywhere else!
Now if they only carried the shift indicators w/ overdrive I'd be placing another order immediately!
