For Installation:

Additional parts will be needed to complete heater function. For a OE appearing install, we  recommend the following:

  • Heater mirror switch from an 01-03 Toyota Highlander (OE part number 84871-48030)
    • This switch will fit in one of the existing switch blanks on the dash. If your vehicle does not have  any switch blanks, other modifications may be needed
  • Heater mirror switch plug from an 01-03 Toyota Highlander (OE part number 90980-10789)
  • 4 pin 30 amp 12 volt relay (Dorman part number 84601)
  • Relay plug (Dorman part number 85170)
  • ATM fuse tap and 10 amp ATM fuse
  • Various lengths and colors of 14-16 gauge & 20-22 gauge wire

The tow mirrors were a breeze to install. I looked on YouTube for guidance from others that installed these or ones like these. No notable viberation. If one wanted they could, with additional parts, could make them heated. I did not. I wished I had. Highly recommended.
