Verify fitment with AM staff before ordering
I have a 1998 Legacy Outback. Ordered rear struts for 1998 Legacy. Fitment only excluded SUS model, did not mention exclusion for Outback. They do bolt in, but now my Outback is about 2 inches low in the rear.

Good, solid parts and good fit
These work very well and much safer than the struts and a compression tool to change the spring from the old strut.

Inexpensive and easy to install
Replaced my worn suspension in 1999 Legacy, which was getting spongy. It was inexpensive and easy. Local Tire dealer/repair shop chain wanted $1000(ish) to do this work. I spent under $300 for the parts and did the work myself.

Check your Fitment before ordering
They don't fit an Outback Legacy. Just a Legacy. I found out the hard way but AM were good sports and took them back. $40 return shipping lost plus had to do the job twice. Probably at least 50% my fault. No hard feelings.
