Small scratching noise turned into a burned out motor
I had bought this blower motor to replace my old and worn blower motor. Fitment was good, no modifications needed, easy drop in.This new motor worked but it had a slight scratching sound. I didn't think much of it because the sound was very small and could barely hear it over the fan noise. Over the course of a few month, it got louder and louder, to the point it was pretty evident something is not right. Eventually I smelled electrical burning smell and the fan loss power. I had plan to make a warranty claim but totalled my truck before I could do it.
