2006 GMC Sierra
I received the resistor and installed it in the same day. I have a problem, the resistor heated up immediately upon plugging in the connector.I unplugged the connector and read up on the possible cause found that the ignition switch may be the problem. I installed a new switch to no avail. Do you have any other ideas that may resolve this issue?

it works perect and i found build date of vehicle it was 4 04 installed at 627 am it did pretty good for itself thanks also i worked for chev for 40 years as a mechanic
