Your model came from the factory with tapered bearings. Tapered bearings are better than roller ball bearings at handling forces exerted on the bearing during cornering (known as axial load) in trucks and large cars. Roller ball bearings work well for smaller cars, but replacing a tapered bearing with a roller ball bearing will result in increased wear and faster failure.

Works Absolutely Perfect
After fighting my OEM rusted hubs with a sledge hammer to get them off, these were easy to install and works perfect. Would recommend.

..service, 1 day,had the parts, amazing, as they have a Calif. address and I'm in upstate N.Y. Price was great also. Not my first purchase and probably not my last (We own 5 vehicles) also a barn full of projects, hope they are able to help with them. So far, so good.
Parts arrived earlier than forecasted. Fit-up with no problems. Replaced both assemblies on my 2004 Dodge Dakota, 4X4 SXT. Dealer wanted $324 for one wheel hub assembly installed.
I did the entire job, with new fasteners from dealer (only place I could locate near me, $101). Whole job for both wheels cost me half of what the dealer wanted for one wheel. Roaring noise in front end is gone, will update, if I can, after I get a couple thousand miles on vehicle. Thanks AM.
