Your model came from the factory with tapered bearings. Tapered bearings are better than roller ball bearings at handling forces exerted on the bearing during cornering (known as axial load) in trucks and large cars. Roller ball bearings work well for smaller cars, but replacing a tapered bearing with a roller ball bearing will result in increased wear and faster failure.

Seems like a good sub for the Chevy part.
Time will tell if it holds up like the OEM part but after a couple weeks of use it seems fine. It's definitely a whole lot cheaper.

The first one i ordered went bad soon after it was installed. Contacted customer service and it was replaced . Took a few days to longer to get it then i would have liked ..
