They made it easy

This replacement distributor is as easy as it gets. As good a quilt as it gets. Ready to go out of the box just pay attention to a few positions marks and it slips right in...:)

Great replacement part Distributor.

It is a good replacement part. I'm very satisfied with it came with a good Cap and rotor. Very easy to install. It's a lot better than the one made of plastic. GM should have used all aluminum housing. I would recommend by far.
Well worth the money.

distributor was made well the cap has brass post which won't corrode like aluminum. the distributor clamp was made to line your timing up. So over all the part seems to be great.

Distributor shaft works but had to purchase a better distributor cap and rotor since the one it came with started missing between one and two cylinders on my V8. Now it runs consistently smooth.

Solved my problem. Runs great. Research this install and succeed.

Solved my problem. Showed up a day earlier than expected. Well packed. Quality seems fine. My first attempt at installing it gave me a CEL p1345. Uninstalled and used the old hold down bracket as others have suggested. No CEL but still -3.2 degrees out. Researched how to get it to close to 0 and now it purrs. This is the best this truck has run in years. Very happy. Now I'm eyeing the suspension rebuild kits.

Very dismayed

I was thrilled with the idea of an aluminum housing instead of the factory worn out plastic distributor... sadly it left us stranded, the machine work seems solid, but the primary ignition parts aka integrated cam sensor is sub par. Don’t cheap out on it now, better than losing a days pay at work and having to buy high quality anyways. Really dismayed, I’d love to send it back but I can’t have any more down time with the truck.

Wise Choice.

I installed the distributor into a brand new g.m. crate motor. Set timing at 0 and the motor fired right up and works perfectly. I would recommend am parts to everybody.

better than OEM

I have to say the aluminum distributor is a much better design than the OEM plastic one. the screws that hold the cap on are machine thread unlike the course wood screw type that strip out so easy in the OEM plastic one. Perfect fit, form, and function. It also comes with new cap, rotor, and pick up or "cam sensor" as it is referred to. The gasket is even with it, just plug and play.
