Was initially excited to receive this when it came but was disappointed that I had to hunt the necessary hardware and clips from the local salvage yard to install it on my truck

Thank you for your review. This kit does not include any additional hardware for installation; if the existing hardware is in good shape it may be reused, otherwise as stated here it will need to be sourced locally.
