Still working a year plus later great driver reinforcement works great

The replacement Door Handle Reinforcement was as advertised, a direct replacement for the original part that failed after 15 years of service. This part should easily take the Focus the rest of the way.

Removal / installation is straight forward. There are several YouTube videos on how to do it.

Worked great without a hitch. Was able to get the whole repair done in a short amount of time and the part was a perfect replacement for my busted door handle.

Had to replace door handle and piece that supports the door handle. You save a lot of money by purchasing these parts and doing it yourself. Thanks am autoparts!

The replacement sent to me was of better quality than Ford's handle. Noticed the aluminum for the mechanism was a bit beefier (which is what broke, thus needing a replacement) happy with the part, price and the ship time.

Upon inspecting this product when it arrived, I was pleased to see that it was made very well. I was a little worried that since it was the $20 part, and not one of the $30+ replacements I've seen, that it would be cheaper, but that was not the case. It was a perfect replacement for my defective OEM handle reinforcement on the driver's door. The installation was a little tricky, as most youtube tutorials and online forums only cover the handle replacement, not the handle reinforcement replacement. Just take your time not to bend any of the rods in the door, and with enough patience, every other part can be reused; you don't have to break or bend any of the old hardware inside the door. My door now opens flawlessly once again, just like new. I would definitely buy again, and highly recommend if yours needs replacing.
