I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. The part fit with no problem. The color blends in with the rest of the car. It's better than having a black door knob handle like I did, which stuck out terribly.

So, in appearance and function, it's the very similar to the OEM's. However, in the part I received (and I did NOT pick this up in the advertiser's picture), there had been a design change on the fasteners holding the handle to the door brackets. If you look closely, you'll see brass inserts in the plastic casting. The OEM (or, at least the one that came off my '97) were attached using self-threading screws. This handle required two M6 threaded bolts, by about 10mm long. I found this out on Easter Sunday, when I had just taken the door handle out of the car. The car sat til Monday morning, when I could go down to the hardware store and buy two M6 bolts, which were too long and had to be cut to length.

Upshot? Caveat emptor! :)

this was not the exact fit. although similar was a head ache trying to make it work. off by couple of millimeters

I can't believe that the color match my car can't tell it's a new part.

I ordered the wrong color. They replaced it very quickly at no charge. My only complaint was the part did not contain the bolts/screws for attachment. /The original handle was secured with screws in a plastic body. The replacement part required screws with metal to metal threads.

The product did not fit and had to be modified extensively. Even after the modification the handle did not fully fit flush with the door. Color of handle was good.

Well, I had a beige Camry and the paint matched perfectly! Other then that, it was a little strange that the screws/bolts were mismatched such that I needed a 10 mm bolt to make it work which my original Camry did not have. Luckily I had one and I moved right on!

Simply too high (tall). Hits metal interior at top. Can't insert bottom clip notches and insert all the way in. Had to cut unnecessary top and remove roller cutting at center line of roller.

As has been the case with multiple parts I have purchased from A-M, this unit is equal to or better than the original and the price is very modest. The A-M replacement even has threaded brass inserts for machine screws rather than the original plastic boss/sheet metal screw mounting style. The finish is excellent and close enough to the original color (in my case) that no repaint was needed. The only small negative is that I had to procure metric bolts and cut them to length, as they are not supplied. AM Autoparts is my first choice for parts.

I ordered this part online because through the dealer it was so much more expensive . I talked to the body shop at the dealer and they were fine with using this part . When I gave it to them they were like wow it’s even already painted ! It has been on for a bout a week and I have had no problems with it ! It looks great and matches perfectly and my car is a 1999

Except for the color the product came in as advertised and as I expected. My Lexus is a little bit darker in color, however, I find the quality acceptable and the price is beyond reasonable. Shipping was fast - cannot complain. I will order again should the need arise. Thank you

Shipping was timely, products were factory new in original packaging. Had them installed and they are working great.

This part fit my '99 Toyota Camry perfectly. The only thing I was even thinking about giving it a 4 star rating for was how thin the actual handle piece is. it feels like I'm going to rip it off at any time. It hasn't happened and I'm sure I am concerned for no reason.

When my driver's side door handle on my 97 camry snapped, opening the door became tiresome and got old very quickly. Not wanting to make a major ($$) purchase to replace it, I looked on Amazon and found this handle through this amazon seller. For well less than $20 I was able to purchase an already painted handle that matched my car EXACTLY! Since I didn't want to try doing the replacement myself, I took it to my mechanic who did the install. No problems....and no longer do I need to crawl over my passenger side seat to open my driver's side door! Thanks for a great part at a great price...and oh, btw, the shipping was minimal and very timely.

The door handle is just like the OEM, except for one thing. The oem mounting bolts for handle are threaded into the plastic. Where as the aftermarket handle has threaded inserts. You must go out and buy the need bolts from a hardware store in order to mount the handle. Other than that it worked out great, the paint match was spot on.
