Blend door actuator
This part was identical to the one in our 2014 Ford Explorer which had failed. The access for removal and replacement is difficult. Before attempting to insert the spline shaft into the sleeve, push the actuator higher so you can see to line up the electrical connectors and clip them together. Now try to insert the spline and if it won’t engage turn on the climate control to make adjustments in temperatures while gently pressing the actuator into the housing sleeve you will feel the spline shaft and eventually it will line up and slide in
