Save a buck, pay the price.
Please avoid cheap electrical parts that are not OEM when replacing on Honda vehicles. The work involved to get to this air valve in the Honda Odyssey is time consuming and tedious especially in 10 degree weather. So this idle control valve sold by AM auto parts was worst then the Failing OEM part and Am auto would only exchange the part, no refund. Well at least they sent me a replacement, whoopee doo. I wasn’t going to chance putting in another reject control valve in, So i ended up cleaning out the carbon in my old Oem control valve, EGR, ports and reused the old cleaned unit and WALLA, issue resolved. I should have done that from the get go.
While I don’t blame AM AUTO parts for selling auto parts, they should do business with better Auto part manufacturers.

Did not work at all....
The valve did not work at all....I installed it and the car shut off after 5 seconds. I tried several more times,did the same thing...I put old part back in did not shut off....

Great Purchase Experience
My review is directed more towards the actual purchase and receipt of the part ordered. The purchase of the item was extremely easy. Shipping costs were inexpensive. Product malfunction.
This part I purchased is defective I brought car to a mechanic and it's thowing a code for idle air control valve malfunction. Can I get a replacement part and then I'll send other one back.

If it works it will be short lived
We installed this part one year ago before inspections and it lasted for 9 months and then the check engine light came on again. We installed another not understanding why the part died so quickly. This time the light stayed on. We took the car to the machanic and he said the part is not correctly made for the car, the real dealer part is $285. He installed the dealer part and the check engine light went off. He said the dealer part will outlive the car and game me this part back to return.
