Usually fine...

Maybe this part didnt fit, because as soon as my Certified mechanic that works for DC Govt changed it my car started sputtering and had a very shakey idle. Again maybe it was the wrong part but i specifically put in 2012 Nissan altima.

Bad Mass Air Flow Sensor

The mass air flow sensor was no good.. it was a bad part that was sent to me. I wish,i could get a refund. Im really upset that i paid for a bad piece of equipment for my car.

fit like oem part

I installed this, but it made the car more wobbly than it originally was and it kept turning off while idling . I got a replacement one and it did the same. I had to ask for a refund. I would definitely keep purchasing from these guys, but not this part. I also have to get the part elsewhere.

Refund.

I odered this too. My mechanic put this and reset the system. It broke my car’s electric system in 30 seconds. Now i have to order 2008 nissan altima electric system from dealership for $1350.

I want to return this and get my money back ASAP.

Horrible garbage part

Compete waste of money. Do yourself a favor and don’t get the part from here, not only did it not fix the check engine light it actually made the car worse than it was before. I took it out and bought the OEM part and have had no issues since. Spend the extra money and get a part that works, which isn’t from here.

Defective product

Wouldn't recommend this product, it was defective and wouldn't lock into place. Even when I screwed it in and tried to drive my truck around it would stall, have a rough idle, and power steering would lock up, then the truck would die. I had to put it in park, turn it off and back on just to drive it forty yards or so.

Mass Air Flow Sensor

The price of this part was significantly less expensive than prices at various bricks-and-mortar parts stores in my local area. Unfortunately, the part was not functional when installed. Maybe next time--I know and understand failure rates on new parts. AM Autoparts has a good reputation and I know if I shipped the part back for refund according to policy; I would receive the refund. I'll purchase other parts from AM Autoparts again.

Received my MAS a week later it's bad again!

I had the sensor put in last Saturday September 23,2017. My check engine light came in today September 28, 2017. Took it to see what could be the problem now.... the Mass air flow sensor I just purchased and had installed is now bad again!!!! Not happy at all!

part did not work,

I ordered a Map Sensor for a 2011 Maxima SV, part 1AEAF00052 on or about 8/9/17
The sensor was installed and the computer codes cleared. After a few drive cycles the check eng. Light came back on. After running a diagnostic check, the code for a bad map sensor Is back on.
One thing I noticed about your sensor is that it did not “click” or lock into place when installed. The OEM sensor would “click” and lock into place. I uninstalled and reinstalled both sensors several times and your sensor would not lock but the OEM locked easily every try.
I will be glad to try another one of your sensor and return the one I have.
I would prefer a call to discuss the matter. My mailing address is below.

Great value

This sensor was a direct replacement for the OEM sensor. Installed in minutes, reset the check engine light and have driven it for 1000 miles. Engine runs great, restored my gas mileage to better than normal. And the most remarkable thing is it cost less than 1/10th the price of the OEM part at the local dealer. Great warranty too, so no worries about premature failure.
